The Law: Barrier or Gate Rom. 8:1-4
What did Jesus mean when He said: It is finished?
Rom 3:21 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God NIV
James 2:9 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. NIV
Rom 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. NIV
Heb 4:15-16 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are — yet was without sin. NIV
Matt 5:17-18 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. NIV
John 10:7 7 Therefore Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. NIV
Rom 7:4 4 So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God. NIV
Gal 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. NIV
